I awoke to the sounds of the Timba drumming out of my iPhone. It was dark. I cracked open my bedroom door and found a newspaper clipping my mom had left – You Might as Well Face It: You’re Addicted to Success.

I brought the article to the office and did what all good son’s do with their parents pearls of wisdom: set it aside for a week. But as I read it this past Tuesday I realized just how pertinent it was to my life. My name is Bryce and I am an addict. I have become addicted to success.

Now I’m sure this sounds dramatic coming from me, especially as I am not all that successful. Either way the article really struck a chord. I wake everyday thinking about the business. It has brought me the highest highs and the lowest lows over the past six months. I put the vast majority of my energy and resources towards it.

The way I am speaking about the business is the same way a drug addict describes the habit he can’t kick or the head over heals lover describes the guy she can’t leave no matter what he does. I’m addicted.

Read the article and send me your thoughts…

Addicted to success…Wow..this one’s really different…Imagine standing in front of the mirror every single morning and speaking it loud…”I’m addicted to success”…what a confidence booster that would be…

P.S.: Didn’t really read the entire article..just that the phrase struck an instant cord with my mind..
