TaskUs has launched and we are experimenting with ways to market our service. The guerrilla marketer in me always looks for free marketing techniques first (of course any other technique is impossible at this point because we have no money).
Twitter has been incredibly effective at getting the word out. (If you don’t know what Twitter is click here). I use my own Twitter account (bmaddock) and a cool tool called Tweet Scan to search for people looking for personal outsourcing services and respond directly to them. I can also answer customer tweeted praise and concerns direct.
We’re experimenting with other online guerrilla techniques but so far this seems to be the one that is working out best.
