I have been reading a lot about how both Presidential campaigns are attempting to harness the power of the internet. Even as behavioral targeting begins to receive government scrutiny, the campaigns are utilizing it with a gusto to target swing voters. This got me thinking: which candidate is doing better online? So I went to Compete.com to get traffic stats on BarackObama.com and JohnMcCain.com:

I wasn’t surprised to find that Obama has done better than McCain. However, I was surprised by how much better he has done. Obama consistently receives 2 to 3 times as many page views per month.

If only page views decided elections.
